We do not have heat. The only heat source is a small wall space heater. It’s 25 degree Fahrenheit outside . It’s supposed to get down to 20 tonight. This is miserable and the thought of checking out to find another place is miserable when you think about packing and reloading the car.

We needed a bigger room. Not much space for your things. Our heat went out and was cold in the room, but we should have called someone . Did not want to wake anyone

Nice beds and sheets. The rooms need to be refurbished with paint and certain amenities to make them more comfortable and hospitable. This is an old motel which needs a fix up although it is basically sound. Even a minimum do over would be nice. On the positive side the beds were comfortable and the manager was friendly and helpful

Owner-manager is great. Facilities did not work so well. Refrigerator temperature control could not be adjusted and froze the food. Bathroom shower and sink leaked. Room was small.

Nice area. Courteous staff. Room generally clean. Only thing I didn’t like was the mildew in the shower grout lines. Didn’t quite line up with the perfectly white grout lines showing in the online pictures that had persuaded me to pick this place.

This is a vintage motel in a very small town. Though a bit dated, it was a very clean and quiet room with a friendly manager who personally made sure we liked the room and had everything we needed. When we found the only hotel room available in Bryce Canyon was going to be $300 we decided to drive 20 minutes to Panguitch and found this gem for around $80.

The Lamplighter Lodge has definitely been upgraded! Big, remodeled bathroom, a nice kitchenette, and lots of room ! It was nice!!

Nice motel in Panguitch

Owner was great, room was nice with multiple personal touches and it was clean. It's an older motel that is dated, but everything worked just fine. Would definitely recommend if you're ever in Panguitch

TERRIBLE DO NOT GO HERE!!! When I got here, I was in room 8, and immediately when I walked in, it smelled so bad of urine. All of the windows were open, which leads to believe that they were aware. The fridge was also warm. I told staff I wanted a new room, and he said since I “used” the sink (me checking for hot water) he was not going to get another room at first. I kept pushing and finally got room 1, which is the best suite they have. The pictures shown below are the pictures from the “best suite.” This was a disgusting place do not book!

Great place for a quick trip.

In between Bryce Canyon and Mt Zion, a really convenient location. Such a fantastic welcome, super friendly manager. We arrived, checked in, management came to the door and made sure everything was in good condition, to us. I asked where the ice machine was, he opened the door for the ice room while I was holding 2 water cups and the furnished ice bucket. He even asked if he could fill it for me. 5 stars for friendly manager. The room was good, comfortable bed, clean shower, and close to really good restaurant.
