Bienvenido a The Crest: A Mid-Century Mountain Garden Getaway. Esto es más que solo un hogar. Es tu lugar FELIZ.

A solo 2 horas en coche de Los Ángeles, este oasis de 2 dormitorios y 2 baños de mediados de siglo está ubicado cerca de la zona histórica de Point Happy de La Quinta.

Originalmente construida en 1965, esta casa está situada en un lote de esquina grande y ofrece más de 1600 pies cuadrados de espacio habitable funcional. La casa todavía cuenta con parte de su carácter original de mediados de siglo y ha resistido la prueba del tiempo.

La casa tiene un diseño muy luminoso y abierto. Las puertas de doble entrada florales personalizadas que fueron importadas de Sudamérica son impresionantes y únicas. La casa está bellamente decorada con pisos de madera de bambú en todas partes. Dentro de la sala de estar, notará el diseño ecológico y de buen gusto de mediados de siglo y los muebles de madera de mango que son populares en la vida actual.

La casa está ubicada cerca de la intersección de la autopista 111, cerca de Point Happy, y algunos la consideran la puerta de entrada occidental a La Quinta.
Nuestra pequeña y tranquila comunidad de Highland Palms consta de menos de 100 casas que se construyeron a principios de los años 60 y 70. La ubicación también tiene una gran importancia histórica, con vínculos con los indios Cahuilla, The Bradshaw Trails, The Point Happy Ranch y el famoso DuPont Estate, por nombrar algunos.

Beautiful, comfortable, super relaxing vacation.

My wife and I recently stayed at The Crest to visit my brother and take in the sites of Palm Springs. The house was the perfect place to spend some nice relaxing time resting from work and catching up with my brother who lives locally. The house was pristine and set up nicely. The pool was nice and cool and a refreshing break from the desert heat. The neighborhood is super quiet and away from the hustle. Owner was very responsive and easy to deal with. Cannot wait to return.

Excellent stay in a great town

My husband and I had a very relaxing stay in La Quinta. The Crest house was clean, beds were comfortable and was within minutes to many restaurants. We looked forward to using the great pool when the afternoons were hot. Mark was very responsive if we had any questions. I highly recommend staying at this great house. We definitely will be back if we come back to La Quinta again.

Family vacation to relax, shop, enjoy the sun and take in Stagecoach.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Crest!! The home is situated in a beautiful neighborhood with amazing views of the Santa Rosa Mountains. it is centrally located to many restaurants, grocery stores and retail outlets and therefore was very easy for us to get around. The home is very spacious and had all the amenities we required for our stay. The beds too were very comfortable. The outside space was very nice. The pool got cleaned several times during our stay and there was more than enough pool toys and floaties available to enjoy. The property manager kept in communication with us which was very nice since this was our first Vrbo rental experience. Although I would say the home was clean there were some areas the cleaning staff could improve on such as wiping down dirty walls, baseboards and cleaning inside the garbage can to name a few. We too were initially disappointed to find out there was in fact no hot tub even though it was on the listing. It would have been nice but we much preferred the using the pool anyway. Overall I would highly recommend anyone to stay at The Crest and hope we have the opportunity to stay there again in the future!!

Fantastic family getaway in this gorgeous desert oasis!

We recently had a wonderful 10-day getaway at a mid-century desert home that left us feeling completely refreshed. The house was beautifully designed, and the peaceful backyard with a pool was a highlight of our stay. We also loved the quiet neighbourhood and the stunning backdrop of the hills behind the property. Our host, Mark, was incredibly helpful and responsive, answering any questions we had and making sure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The location was also perfect, as it was close to everything we needed, including grocery stores, restaurants, and amazing golf courses. Overall, we would highly recommend this property for a relaxing and fun family vacation. The beautiful design, peaceful backyard, and helpful host made it an unforgettable experience.

Great for BNP tournament!

We enjoyed our stay. The location is perfect if you are attending the Indian Wells tennis tournament. It’s was a less than 7 minute drive to the stadium center! Bedrooms were nice size. Kitchen was fully stocked. Backyard / pool area was nice

The Crest

This property was absolutely perfect for our family of 4 with 2 teenage daughters. The ping pong table was hit with them and a great place to escape the sun under the covered patio. The pool was very large and clean with plenty of floats if you need to lounge in the water. the yard was peaceful and very relaxing. The house has everything you could need on a vacation with large Tv's, comfy beds and updated bathrooms. The host Mark was very accommodating and always available for any needs or questions. We will for sure be back!!! Thank you for a great vacation Mark!!!!

Perfect MidCentury Getaway!

A quiet neighborhood and beautiful private backyard oasis make this the perfect getaway place! Cozy beds in each of the bedrooms, a well stocked kitchen and large living room add to the experience of this LaQuinta gem! Outstanding and immediate communication from the owner add to the ease of stay. This place does not disappoint.

This house was perfect for relaxing by the pool! Mark was super helpful and attentive, and there are tons of gold courses in the area. The backyard is a little piece of paradise.

Great rental

The house was in a great location. Market, restaurants were very close. Communication with host was excellent. Check in progress was simple. The house had everything that we needed. Beds were comfortable. Rooms were spacious. House has a good size. You won't feel crowded. Pool was amazing. It was at least 5-6 feet deep. Will definitely be coming back

Owner is very nice and responsive

My wife and I stayed here for a week. First, Mark is awesome. We had problems with the cable tv (I finally figured out how to rest box) and Mark attempted to help immediately. That in itself is unique and worth mentioning. As for the property, the pool is not heated and the description of the house does not mention that, which as a pool owner is important. Although there is a hammock, it is covered in bird poop as the neighbor in the back has doves. The lawn furniture is extremely uncomfortable (metal chairs, cheap with no cushions). The recliners have 2" pads, but the furniture is hard wood, so 4" is needed. When the weather hit above 80, we put our feet in the pool and were immediately cooled down, but because of the pool temperature, the pool was not usable. if you were just using the house as a base to stay, you could not ask for a more convenient place.
