"Beautiful hotel with a great atmosphere and excellent staff service. Everyone we interacted with was friendly and professional. However, they charge for parking, and they also charged an additional fee for a rollaway bed, even though we indicated at the time of booking that there would be three guests. Once you add those extra charges to the room rate, you end up paying almost Breakers prices—yet this hotel is not The Breakers. Another disappointment was the lack of flexibility with late checkout. Most hotels try to accommodate guests when possible, but this property would not extend our checkout time, and we had to leave at 12:00 p.m., which was inconvenient. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and appreciated the wonderful staff, but the unexpected extra charges and inflexible checkout policy took away from what could have been an excellent experience."
