Overall, we had a good stay and would recommend the apartment, particularly for the location. It’s in a great area with a large supermarket nearby and plenty of lovely restaurants and bars within easy walking distance.
The accommodation itself was comfortable, although there were a few issues that could have been handled better. The shower didn’t drain properly, and there was quite a lot of noise from around 7am on weekdays, so it may not be ideal for light sleepers. There was also a mix-up with the cleaner, who arrived a day before we were due to check out and initially told us we needed to leave, although this appeared to be a simple miscommunication.
The biggest frustration was that we had no WiFi for our entire stay. We reported it and had to chase several times, but unfortunately it was never resolved.
That said, these issues didn’t spoil our trip. The excellent location and easy access to shops, restaurants and bars were real positives, and with a few small improvements to the maintenance and communication, this would be a really good place to stay.
