Directions got us to the driveway, but after getting in the gate we went in and were at a terrible looking house that greeted us with many dogs and cats. We realized we were at the wrong house. After calling the emergency number we found out that there was a faint drive to the right. Went that way to find our rental. But the memory of the other place followed us all week. The cupboards in the house are completely worn out. Both kitchen and bathrooms needed updated. They do not look like the photos. The mattresses were cheap and uncomfortable. The pillows were even worse. We could see what looked like a nice mattress in the lower level of the house that was blocked off. House had a musty smell. There were holes on the window screens, and the windows could also use an update. Something was wrong with the fridge door. One side had to be closed first or it wouldn’t close. Glass top put on the table was hazardous. Don’t think it belonged there. Kept walking into it. It’s bigger than the actual table but glass so you can’t see it. Porch was nice. Outside was painted nicely. Flooring of house are new and well done. Windows were clean. Appliances were new and worked well but we didn’t want to put dishes in cupboards. Suggest adding a keurig coffee pot. The bathrooms needed a serious update. The fixtures had not been clean in a long time. The tubs were stained. We just thought the place had a 1940/1950 vibe- that’s the last time a serious update was done.
