Lovely apartment, but horrible service!!!

Although the apartment was spacious, comfortable & well-located, our experience with a broken front door lock and bad customer service from the property management, StayBeyond, made the stay terrible. Due to a faulty/bent front door lock, we had to sleep one night with the front door unable to close and barricaded with furniture. The repairmen were unable to fix it and promised to return in the morning. It took much convincing to get StayBeyond to send them in the first place, but we were happy when they showed up. They weren't able to fix it that night and took the door completely apart (leaving a loose screw after they put it back together). They said they would return the next morning between 8 and 10, but were not back on the property until late afternoon and I had to contact StayBeyond for any follow-up. This left us unable to leave the property from Saturday evening to Sunday late afternoon. Although I understand these things happen, the lacking concern for our safety or time from StayBeyond was completely disappointing. We have been in negotiations with them since the incident for some compensation, however they still claim that their repairmen are sure there is nothing wrong with the door - Nothing wrong with the door, yet we had to sleep with it open overnight. These lies are disappointing, and the fact that they will not listen to their customers' accounts, with photo, video and email evidence, is extremely frustrating. Do not book a StayBeyond property!

Als erstes muss man sagen, dass man in eine geräumige Unterkunft hereinkommt und sagt wow. Aber dann kommen die Details: Alles funktioniert nicht richtig oder ist in irgendeineiner Art leichter oder schwerer beschädigt. Dusche, heißes Wasser erst die Sicherungen suchen, dann feststellen, dass man es auf einer lauen Temperatur besser nicht verstellt, da man sonst nur heiß und kalt duscht. Das heiße Wasser fürs Bad lief über den Überlauf direkt auf die Straße und nicht in die Wanne, die Spülung der Toilette funktionierte nicht, Die Tür von der Küche war an die Wand gelehnt, der Fernsehr hatte dicke Kratzer auf dem Display, die Küchengeräte waren sehr ausgenudelt und teils beschädigt, wie gesagt, eine lange Liste. Hilfe, am Abend null, am nächsten Tag hätte man im Haus warten sollen, damit man selber den Klempner empfangen kann, von der Hausverwaltung keine Spur. Auf top kommt die Reservierung, erst alles erfassen mit Passfotos und eigenen Fotos schicken und eine Sicherheithinterlegung via Kreditkarte machen, die ich bis jetzt noch nicht erstattet bekommen habe (normalerweise wird nach dem auschecken international nach der Zimmerkontrolle die Sicherheit auf der Karte annulliert), hier wurde die Karte schon belastet und man bekommt erst "14" Tage nach auschecken, das Geld zurückerstattet und bleibt damit auf Prozenten und Kommission sitzen. Eine Unverschämtheit. Wie gesagt, geräumig war alles. Ich reise seit 30 Jahren international, das war eines der schlechtesten Erlebnisse.
