"My friend rates hotels by their shoehorns or lack thereof. There was a shoehorn that eliminated the need to lean down, so for my friend, I rate it 5 stars. Very comfortable bed, great shower, and quiet. Breakfast was well laid, with much variety and excellent quality. The culinary high notes for me were the energy shots, meat, cheese, gravlax, herring, fresh fruit and vegetables. Coffee was good. This was my third stay at Mornington, which really speaks for itself. The location cannot be better, less than a block from Östermalstorg metro stop and one stop from Stockholm Central. One can walk to dozens of excellent dining options. It is an easy walk to the ferry for several islands in the archipelago and to Djurgården with its many attractions. Across the street is an excellent option for Fika, with cappuccino and something little and delicious to accompany it. The hotel restaurant served a lovely dinner and had a nice selection of draft beer (Neon IPA-yum) and local gin. The staff were excellent when a problem arose with the lock on our room door. "

"Beautiful hotel. Great location near several metro stops. We walked everywhere. Make sure to request room with AC if that matters to you. One night we had room with only a fan type set up. But the other 6 nights was bliss in the AC room. Breakfast was good with fruit, yogurt, eggs, breads and cheeses and pastries. Drip coffee free, barista coffee like cappuccino cost 45Sek. The wine bar had good drinks and it was nice sitting outside. Rooms have excellent bedding and good body lotion, shampoo, conditioner etc. would stay again."

"Rooms are somewhat small even when we got an upgrade ,somewhat outdated bathroom with only a bath tup to shower, not suitable for elderly people, otherwise nice location within easy 15-20 minutes walking distance to major attractions, room prices somewhat high ,staff helpful and friendly , hotel has no tour desk ,no tour flyers or city maps on display , Overall we will come again"
