Rooms were clean, hotel staff very helpful. Rooms however are very dated abd need upgrading. Simple things in bathrooms like new tap fittings will make a huge difference. Also the smallest beds and pillows ever seen un a 4-5 star hotel. And why only one pillow per person??? Location very good and convenient to train and many local shops. The carpet in the Hotel are old, stain and thorn. The staff is not friendly towards americans. They wouldn't even take our bags to the room. When ask where we could buy coffee , we were told to buy it in the vending machine. When there were 2 restaurants to buy it from. Sad because am an avid traveler and this hotel had good review. So Sad .

My visit to Sakai

I spent 10 nights in the hotel..staff were very helpful at all times..Room was cleaned twice a day..Hotel is comfortable, very clean with lots of options for dinning..it is also very close to a big train station with direct access to Kansai airport..a shopping Mall nearby and a supermarket as well.

I stay almost every year one week in the Agora Regency Sakai Hotel. It is a nice hotel with kind staff. Unfortunately the inventory and the rooms slowly show their age. A renovation is needed. Sleep comfort was very good.
