"Overall this property and the staff were beautiful and amazing. I did have a few issues 1.My room pool wasn't cleaned everyday (leaves and wind debris. 2. I went out two days all day and my room wasn't cleaned when I returned 3. The minibar attendant and the maids would come in the room anytime without waiting for me to say come in. I never experienced this in a hotel before. 4. There was a extra charge of 15 Euros a day at check out. for what? Even with these 4 issues I would stay at the hotel again. I hope this review will help."

"I stayed at the extended villa away from the main hotel. The villa was amazing. The rooms were clean and the check in process was smooth. The villa has a very large private pool with a sunk in sitting area for food and drinks by the pool. There is also a second pool that sits right in front of the master bedroom. It comes with a private entrance with keyfob access. The hotel provides the option of bringing breakfast every morning from the hotel because we are separate which is an amazing gesture. There are 3 large rooms, each with its own bath and shower. There is also a small gym located in the downstairs area. We will definitely reserve this again on our next trip"

"Nice place to stay if you are looking to stay far enough from the crowdy streets of the old town but close enough to the good spots around Ornos. I did find that it’s a bit understaffed in some areas and for a 5 star hotel you would expect a higher service level."

"We absolutely adored our stay at Mykonos Essence. I have to give a big shoutout to the staff who were so friendly, superb and the most helpful staff I’ve encountered in a hotel for many years! The hotel itself is very pretty, well maintained and feels authentically Greek; with stone walls and blue and white decor. Our room had a stunning view of the sea and the pool, and a large terrace, which was fantastic! The pool is lovely, well maintained and great to swim in and the beach is a less than 5 minute walk away. It was nice to have options! The breakfast was delicious, well made and there are plenty of options for everyone. In particular, the French Toast was scrumptious! The location of Essence is perfectly situated in the town of Ornos; a quiet town on the southwestern coast of Mykonos with some wonderful authentic (and affordable) authentic Greek restaurants and that delightful beach. There are some terrific beach bars and really nice cafes in the area too! It’s an ideal location if you want to chill by the beach and choose which days to go into the hubbub of Chora. You can get a short bus into Chora (Mykonos Town) which takes less than 10 minutes and costs £2.20 per person. It’s a good alternative to taxis which can add up and be more expensive. Finally, the hotel bar has delicious light snacks. Try them out on a pool day and you won’t regret it! I couldn’t recommend Mykonos Essence enough and hope to return in the not so distant future!"
