We did not actually stay at this property. The owner moved us shortly after booking to another property due to some maintenance issues with the house I booked. The home we used was in a decent location, but had no amenities at all for us to use except for some plates, silverware, cups, a couple of pans, etc. We had to buy everything for the property, including basic items like salt, pepper, etc, which was a first in about 20-30 properties we’ve booked through VRBO. We had very few towels and houseware items and had to basically run a load in the washer and dishwasher after every use to ensure we had what we needed upon returning to the home after long days at the parks. The value for the money was rated accordingly. We were disappointed to show up to the property and could not use the pool and hot tub because we were changed to a different listing and the alternate listing said it would be 35 per day to heat/use both but since we didn’t book that listing we were unaware. VRBO reached out to see if we wanted to heat the items and made it clear it was listed, but again, we did not stay in the house we booked. Seemed a little bait and switch upon arrival. After spending plenty of money for the rental, it seemed odd to find this out when we arrived. A reminder or inquiry from the owner prior to arrival to make sure that was our intent would have been appreciated. The property was rated as “okay.” I would be diligent about looking at other options prior to booking
