Host was attentive at first, but stopped responding on the final 2 days. I reserved the location because it has a hot tub and pool. They offer pool heating for an additional 35 per day. I advised them that I wanted to add that. Neither the pool nor the hot tub had warm or hot water. I messaged the host every day advising him of the cold water issues with the pool and hot tub. He did send someone to try to heat the pool but it never heated. We were unable to utilize the pool or hot tub for any of the 5 days we were there. I also advised the host that the first floor master bedroom has a lingering foul odor. Smells like a plumbing issue or maybe even a dead mouse. We don’t know what the odor was but it lingered in that room all 5 days. The tv in an upstairs bedroom wasn’t working. The host did promptly replace it though. Lastly, for a 5 day stay, we were given 1 roll of toilet paper per bathroom and one towel and one washcloth per person. This was one of the house guests first VRBO experience, she said she’ll never do vacation house rental again based on this experience. I believe I’m due a partial refund for our inability to utilize the advertised hot tub and heated pool.
