We had a wonderful stay at Manoir des Sables. The staff were friendly and welcoming, the room was clean and comfortable, and the hotel grounds were beautiful and well maintained. The location is perfect for exploring Magog and Orford, while still being peaceful and relaxing. We especially enjoyed the pool and the overall atmosphere. Hotel needs some maintenance in general, balconies were wobbly. Overall we enjoyed exploring the vast hotel territory and the lake with free access to the kayaks and paddleboard, however the lake has polluted water and we heard from locals not to swim in it.

Manoir des Sables feels like an old fashioned family resort. The small lake at the back was fun with kayaking and paddle boating. The pool was nice but there was not much seating or enough lounge chairs. The food was very good but expensive. Our room was okay. The mattress had to be replaced as the first was saggy but the staff was very accommodating. Over all our experience was good. The resort does feel older and a little run down. The food was good and the staff was wonderful.
