Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Twelve of us gathered here for 4 full days. Great beach access, easy access to stores, restaurants, and resources. Kitchen worked great. Everyone had space, enough bathrooms. Would recommend.

Annual Family NYE Trip

Accommodations were perfect for our large group & offered plenty of space for everyone to be comfortable during our stay. The location is ideal as it’s convenient to all the area has to offer. Highly recommend!

Girls Trip!

Had a great time, the house is unique for sure, with lots of room. Quiet beach area, very few people around. Will definitely stay here again.

Beautiful location, nice roomy home, loved all the spacious bedrooms and bathrooms. Mattresses were very comfortably lots of extra coveniences, ice maker, 2 coffee pots and tvs in bedrooms. Living room chairs were very worn and deck rough in places. Would definitely rent again!

Absolutely Perfect!

We had the best stay at this Orange Beach house. Everything was perfect. The beds are comfortable and the sleep options for a big family are plenty. There are several parking spots and private beach access. Everything was clean and the kitchen was stocked with most everything we needed. We would definitely stay again!

The house is old and needs attention. The floor vents were half inch above the floor itself and full of sand. The furniture needs updating to accommodate the amount of people it can hold. There were no end tables, no lamps, nothing was inviting or comfortable. The decor is lacking. The deck needs replacing and the outside chairs were dirty. For the price, we were very disappointed. The management company were very nice and easy but that was the only good thing about this rental. Would not recommend this to anyone. I regret not taking photos of all I have complained about. No one in our group wanted to stay here.

“Our second home”

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This beach house is made for our family. We have 14 people and every family has their area. The best part of the house is it is the 4th house east ofthe state park. We basically get the beach to ourselves. We save all year for this family get together. Yes it is chaos but wouldn’t trade it for the world.

Wonderful House

Plenty of room and parking, 3 cooling units worked flawlessly in the August heat Short walk to the beach that currently has a sea turtle nest Kitchen was adequately supplied Everything was clean Close to stores, restaurants and activities but not the hustle and bustle of Condos We got in a little early which was a bonus I would stay again (a pool would be a nice addition) Thanks for the opportunity Mike

We were told by property mgmt we put a hole in the ceiling. The hole was already there and it shows it on their website. Don't let them charge you for it.

Amazing location, great space, older home

This is an older home, with some areas needing repair. The kitchen/dining room floors were kind of rough and gave our grandson splinters. Also, the air conditioning for the main part of the house wasn't working very well. The A/C for the upstairs rooms and the bunk room were working great, though. The house is in an excellent location, though. And it offers a great amount of space for a large group wanting to stay right on the beach. The beach there is amazing and not very busy at all.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were looking for a home that could fit our family and best friends and was located on the beach. This was the PERFECT place. There was so much space and it was laid out perfectly for what we needed. We had the best most relaxing time eating, relaxing on the beach, and spending time with each other before the big day. It was clean and comfortable and we LOVED it! It will be perfect for family vacations as our family grows! The location is close to so many things, but feels private and secluded at the same time. Great amenities. (ice maker, accessible ramp, interior patio. This property is unique and special. I also have to give a shout-out to the property manager who provided excellent communication.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: House is in need of some repairs. Back deck door lock was broken. We improvised with a dowel stick to lock at night. Outlet in bedroom did not have a cover exposing wires. All the outlets in upstairs bathroom did not work. During rainstorm, water ran down the walls from the ceiling. Large water leak spot in kitchen ceiling.

Loved the Orange Beach area

I have stayed in Golf Shores multiple times and love it. Unfortunately this property was our least favorite. The house maintenance was very poor, floor registers were either taped in the floor as others were raised leaving an exposed edge and one was just laid over the hole, one of the kids stepped in the hole. The AC wasn’t able to keep the house cool and we had to have some people sleep on the downstairs couch or in the kids room because the upstairs AC unit didn’t work and the downstairs AC wouldn’t get below 87 most of the time. This made our stay miserable to sleep or enjoy family nights in playing games. The manager did get a HVAC tech and he got the upstairs unit cooling better but it was still in the 80’s at night. Overall I was not pleased because when I responded to the manager after the units were looked at, I got no response back. I will definitely look for another service to find me a house next year.

Wonderful location

The location was fabulous! We loved the bed options and most rooms had their own bathroom. The major draw back as others stated is the living room, kitchen, 1 bed room on main level AC did not work. The week we went, the temps were about 75 out. The AC couldnt keep up and felt like it needed freon. Thankfully the other 2 units worked well. I would not stay there in the summer due to AC issue. This could be helped if they would add curtains but mainly the AC needs to be fixed. Also, the place needs a deep clean, there was sand under couch and crackers in door. Also the AC vents stick out of the floor. My daughter sliced her toe very badly. I ended up putting sheets around the vents. There were 2 screws sticking up out of kitchen floor so I had to put a floor rug over them. I am mentioning worst case scenario items so renters will be prepared. BUT given all that I would rent again if the AC was fixed. I did not notify management because other tenants had and was never addressed. We had everything we needed and had a relaxing time.

Ants and management

I have a very bad situation in the bedroom with the queen bedroom. I do not appreciate being woke up at two o'clock with ants in my bed. I paid a good price for this guest house and getting ant bites is not acceptable. Hello, I am so sorry to hear this. I completely understand where you are coming from our weather has been exceptionally dry which makes them draw to cotton according to exterminator. I have notified the team and we have reached out to the exterminator. We will have someone come by and spray for ants. - Crystal I submitted pictures and they did not seem to care that I received several bites all over by body This is what I found at 1:00 today. This bedroom will not be used and I strongly believe that I should be reimbursed for not using this room at all. I'm very very disappointed That is not acceptable. This is my whole family and we are on vacation. We drove over six hours to come to the beach. There are no other openings available at this time. Did the owners have guest in that room? If not they would not know about the situation. I made reservations at this location because of the number of bedrooms and bathrooms so no one would be crowded or inconvenienced.

Great location, and you get what feels like a private beach and away from Gulf Shores and OrangeBeach traffic. Thats kinda the end of the good stuff. Unfortunately I wish it had hit the mark on a few things a little better for the cost it was to book.The house is old and the deck had old rusty nails sticking out of it all over the place and certainly in a way youd get stabbed if barefoot. Also thought it might collapse in a couple places. My group didnt even set foot on it after day 1 because it was too dangerous. Water doesn't drain under at the car port so if it rains and your car is there you have to have water shoes to reach it. With that the houses gutters are done for so water pours onto the courtyard deck and you cannot sleep in that bedroom adjacent because of it being so loud from the broken gutter allowing a waterfall 4 feet from your bed.The only other big issue was bugs. We encountered roaches that were huge in nearly every room. In fairness we mentioned it to the property and they sent pest control immediately. But we saw 1 everyday inside the house which made some of our guests on edge to the point where one left and got a hotel.Theres a need to pump some money into the house to bring it up to more basic acceptable conditions. Im not after a luxury fancy beach house but the concerns above are pretty reasonable. To me the house is slipping too much and for the costs charged, I have to leave a honest review.

Spacious home right on the water. Nice big table that allowed all 12 family members to enjoy a meal. Great deck to sit on to look at the water. Just down the street from a large park with walking and biking trails. Bring your own trash bags.
