Clean large resort , great food great pools , the staff was awesome by bar Watiers josesway was great, lovely energetic pool staff and activities , nightly entertainment fun , all the bars were nice so many different options , bartenders by the live stage were so nice attentive jossy and Mimi , amazing beaches , we stood at the palace and were able to hang out arcades only next door , hotly recommended this resort, a little pricey but worth it

I am not the one to write a review, nor have I ever written a review, but I had too after spending $3,500 for not even a week. This was our first trip to Aruba and may be our last. We arrived and were greeted by great staff. When we got to our room, there was an overwhelming smell of mildew and the furniture was very old/outdated and stained. The tub drain was broken and the parts were left inside the tub. The room was dirty and still had hair on the floor in the bathroom from the previous customer. We had an issue with a light blinking in our room, which was taken care of very quickly, but they left a mess on the floor where the light was changed. Regarding the resturaunts, the buffet food was OK, but the outdoor seating had flies and birds everywhere. You CANNOT make reservations at the specialty dining resturaunts. You must go there before they open and stand in line with your entire party or you cannot eat there. Most of the beach chairs were broken, and forget about actually trying to find a spot to sit. Many mornings, all the chairs at the pool and beach were claimed by someone leaving their towel on them and not returning. Overall, Riu needs to update and catch up with the resorts around them. My wife and I walked down the beach and walkway to see the other resorts which were more up to date and would have rather spent a little more to not have that experience.

The pool and beach and staff are wonderful. Very clean! But our room was very outdated. Again- clean but boy does it need some updates. Our television did not work as they just messed with the cable a little bit and shrugged. The workout facility was closed for repairs and they started construction in the hallways at 9am sharp. The elevator needed work while we were there. We almost got stuck. There were no stairs?? So we used the housekeeping elevators which worked fine. The food was good- breakfast is the best! Great location and within walking distance to a cool area with restaurants and bars and shops. Nightly entertainment was an added bonus and fun to watch. We were there for the beach and it was stunning and the water was amazing. Had to get up at 6am to reserve a hut on the beach otherwise you were out of luck. Great overall stay!

El edificio tres donde nos enviaron al piso octavo, no tenía ascensor, tocaba ir por el ascensor de servicio y daba asco, desde el ingreso a una puerta, donde había cosas tiradas, colchones, cunas, es un lugar horrible, las condiciones generales del hotel son malas, muy viejas y nada que ver con las fotos, el sofá cama de la habitación tenía un colchón muy sucio y lleno de óxido.

Out second time here..there are a few things that were declined from last year…namely only 1 working elevator and the fitness center was closed. All the staff is outstanding. The food was pretty much as good as last year…we don’t bother with the restaurants and just enjoy the buffet. We heard they are going to start major renovations soon, but we will probably be back in 2026
