Checked in room key didn’t work and lock on door broke. 2nd room dirty. Went to 3rd room and no mattress cover and sheets had hair on them. Went and got clean sheets and made the bed myself. Very disappointing for a Hampton Inn.

At every encounter with staff they declared I wasn’t a member and asked me to sign up for their rewards program. Based on my experience here, it’s probably best to be a Hilton Rewards member, or stay elsewhere. The room wasn’t exactly the one I reserved and was very noisy at all times, as it was above the breakfast/common room and next to the elevator and an intersection outside. It was without continuous hot water, was without a functioning deadbolt, was without a functioning thermostat, was not fully clean anywhere (hair and smears of ? everywhere) Parking was not reserved or guaranteed, even if you already paid an additional $15/night to park outside the hotel in the lot. Breakfast was mediocre both mornings, but appreciated as it scores slightly above average for similar hotels.

Parking is inadequate, especially to pay $15 and not know if you will get a parking spot overnight. Suite was spacious but could use more seating. Breakfast was fabulous and fully stocked all the way until 10:00.

Nice stay

The hotel is good. Location is great as many things are within walking distance. Room was nice - was ADA which we didn’t request or need. We tried to not take it in case someone in need arrived but no one heard our offer. No mention of being a hotel Honors member or Hilton Honors member was given. Otherwise it’s a nice place for a quick trip.

Not much the hotel can do but Cuming street is loud in the morning to where we couldn’t really sleep in. TV had spots on it making it hard to watch.

The folks who checked us in were very accommodating and did a good job. The room we did not notice until it was too late to make the change did not have darkening curtain over the window just the fill me ones that many places have with a darkening curtain. And we were opposite the baseball stadium with bright lights shining into our room creating a daylight experience all night long. The next morning there was no hot water. We were told it was because the day before they had shut off the water due to a leak they must not have very good hot water heaters if it takes 24 hours for it to heat up water. I would not stay here again nor would I recommend anyone else do so.
