Pier Blue Inn Old Saybrook - Essex
"Room was clean enough, but in dire need of updating. Poor lighting, heavy on wood details, the bathtub had a large crack right in the middle. Carpet felt like it needed a good professional cleaning. We weren't aware of any "amenities" the property offered, but we only stayed 1 night. Staff was ..."

"Would never stay here again. The hotel completely smelled like weed—-the front, rooms, and linens. (If it hadn’t been so late we would have gone on). It was REALLY bad. Best Western Mystic Hotel
"We had a dog with us and when we took our dog outside, we took a bag to pick up the poop with. Even though the hotel provided bags in a dispenser where people walked their dog, people did not use them and there was a number of spots where a dog pooped, and the owner did not pick it up. Also, the toilet seat on the toilet in the room did not sit very high off the floor. The hotel needs to upgrade the toilets if they are all like that and put in high boys. The room was very clean, and the staff were friendly, courteous and helpful."
