Rooms are very spacious and extremely well decorated. No lift but the barman assisted us with luggage. The room attendant is 75 but she is an absolute gem and very thorough with the room makeup. Bar downstairs is not noisy and has great food BUT I didn’t like the vanilla rice pudding.

Absolutely amazing staff!! We had a flight delay from Auckland and found ourselves arriving after the check-in desk closed. I always stay here when in Whanganui visiting whanau. Its not flash, but its always tidy and clean. It is a bit tired, but you dont stay here expecting the Ritz! Location is great.
