This was a lovely place to spend our first couple of nights in Costa Rica after a long flight. The grounds were beautiful and the breakfasts were great, as was our evening meal. The accommodation felt vibrant and Costa Rican, which we loved, but could do with a little updating. However, it was still a comfortable and enjoyable place to stay. We really enjoyed the coffee tour and would highly recommend it.

Loved the hotel and had a wonderful stay—so unique with a Costa Rican vibe and the architecture is reminiscent of Frank Loyd Wright in how the hotel merges with nature and its surroundings. Our room had hand painted murals—as does the rest of the hotel—a sitting room and a patio with a gorgeous view of San Jose. The restaurant had great food and top-notch service and we also enjoyed the coffee farm tour. The pool is equally as magical. I highly recommend this hotel for a memorable experience in Costa Rica.
We stayed in the main hotel, but there are additional bungalows through the grounds.

Beautiful, quaint, authentic Costa Rican rain forest setting. A place to find some peace. Excellent staff and concierge supports. This was our last stop on the trip! A great way to end our stay in Costa Rica and 25 minutes from the airport. We did the coffee tour, a fun way learn more about coffee and grow your appreciation for each cup. Afterwards you’ll have coffee and a cookie made from the cherries of the coffee tree. The room was adorable, and they made it extra special for my birthday by decorating. 😊 We spent the evening at the hotel bar with Sebastian making delicious drinks!

Beautiful gardens and friendly staff. The restaurant was delicious and accommodating to my allergies. We would stay here again on our way in or out of San Jose.
Walking in the grounds there are an amazing variety of plants including huge pines.

We stayed in the Rosa Blanca room. We loved the view and the beautiful art work on the walls in the bathroom. The circular stair case was unique and the 270 degree view of San Jose was great. We thought the staff was friendly, Carlos at the front desk helped us with many arrangments. The wait staff in the restaurant gave us excellent service.
