The amenities were at a minimum. The TV was extremely difficult to maneuver the channels. Location was good. No paper cups for water. Mattress was sagging. Should put instructions on how to operate the TV. Pool was lovely.

Hotel was just ok. Tried finding staff to borrow an iron at 445 pm and no one in office. And no one responded to ringing bell multiple times. No one around. Floor under and behind bed very dirty. Bed very hard and gave me severe hip pain. And hotel cannot afford cable? Come on

The bathtub had hair around the drain and the room felt dated. There was also paint splatter in the bathtub. The bed was comfortable. The office was crowded and not sufficiently staffed. No amenities. Just a small coffer maker in the room.I feel that it was overpriced .

This property is old and run down. They do not offer cleaning services until after you are there 4 days. Rooms beds were awful! They were lumpy and uneven. Also difficulty getting parking and hand no handicap parking. The price at this hotel is way over priced! TV was a Viso with the basic channels that come with the TV. Internet was weak so TV would constantly spin! Stay away from this place!!!

Decent enough accommodations for 2 nights

Stayed here for 2 nights for a beach/girls trip. It was ok. The whole place was outdated and needs a makeover. The room was clean enough, but had an old look about it that had an appearance of “not so clean”. The front desk lady was nice upon arrival, but there was a situation (non emergency) after hours that we tried calling the front desk (this notice was posted when we arrived, to call if we needed anything after hours), and she never answered the phone after several attempts. We were helping another guest beside us try to call because their door locks did not work, and they needed to go get something to eat. We ended up watching their door for them.) The good part of this hotel is that it’s within a 8-10 minute walk to downtown Ogunquit and the beach. I don’t think I would stay here again as there are many other options nearby in the same price point if you reserve earlier enough.

Dirty room & unattentive staff

EVEN IF YOU ARE SEARCHING FOR A BUDGET HOTEL - AVOID. & I am not one to ever leave a review like this, as I try to be very understanding. But, absolutely terrible service and cleanliness. The district manager & manager do not care at all. The shower was full of dirt and grime. The pockets of the room and corners were filthy. Sand everywhere. Even after having a sign out for things we needed, we never were replenished. The room was never cleaned with new bedding. Even after checking back video footage of us apparently, where we went in multiple times to ask for the items we needed/fresh clean - the managers have decided that neglect of service was acceptable and no need for any sort of refund. There is another budget hotel we have stayed in just 30 seconds down the road, that is much better for your money and peace. In the photo if you lol up close, you can see how caked on the grime is in the drain and the rest of the tub and room looked the same.

As a former mgr of large branded hotels: do NOT stay here. Go anywhere else The property is poorly managed, not clean, potentially dangerous. They do not take ownership of problems and provide no solutions whatsoever. I booked through Expedia, and the listing was extremely deceptive. Check-in was chaotic, and when we finally got to our room, we immediately noticed several alarming issues. Because of the hour, we went to dinner, hoping the room would air out. (Me a lot of things close by 8pm) I have a severe allergic reaction to fabric softener, and this room was absolutely drenched in it — the worst I have ever experienced. They use it excessively to cover up other odors instead of cleaning. When returned, the smell was unbearable. It took multiple attempts to reach someone. I requested sheets, towels, and blankets without softener. The response: "Nothing I can do," "No refunds" — on repeat. No solutions offered at all. I even asked if she could wash sheets for me or provide new ones — again, no. I called Expedia, and when they called the property, the manager hung up on them! Expedia was unable to get a refund for me and had NO solution so I lost alot of money. Neither Expedia or Stage Run by the Sea had any solution. It was my fault I had an allegric reaction I was told.
