Family Vacay

We absolutely love this property. You could literally just bring your bathing suit and toothbrush. Kitchen is totally stocked. We will be back. Thanks for the memories.

Beautiful views

I felt like I was on a private getaway vacation in my loft type primary suite. The sheets were clean and fresh, and the mattress was comfortable. The crosswinds and ceiling fans made the whole unit very comfortable.

BFF vaca

This is the second time my friend and I have stayed at this property. We like the ocean front views and walkability of this complex. We had a 3rd floor unit this time which afforded us a rooftop patio which we loved. Restaurants a short walk away.

Dirty condo

The condo community is a great location and very beautiful grounds. This condo was very dirty. The carpets all stained. The hand rails to walk upstairs are very grimy. The stairs are very twisty and narrow. Nasty old accordion door going upstairs. The toilet upstairs very slow to flush. The view of the beach is a lot further than the picture. It is one of the furthest buildings from the beach. It seems every thing out dated in the condo. Would not stay in that condo again. But would stay in the village again.

Great Stay at the beach

Check in after hours was a little rough but everytjungvrjsexwas great. Very close beach access, pool and hot tub. Secure neighborhood. Close the harbor, too. Great restaurants close.

Would've been a great stay, but...

I know none of this is the fault of the unit owner and the stay would have been awesome if 1. any of the elevators were working and 2. we were notified that the water in the building would be shut off. Plus: excellent roof top view. Minus: lugging our suitcases and walking up four flights of stairs the entire stay because the elevators were not functioning. Plus: being reassured that any water shut-offs required 24 hour written notice. Minus: no notice for a 3 hour water shut off during the first half of the day, which meant my family went un-showered for 36 hours. We came to celebrate a birthday but for the amount of money we paid for this unit, we expected a better experience from the property. We were so disappointed and will likely not return to complex altogether.

Love hearing the waves!

It was perfect for us. We had a sand soccer tournament and it was an easy walk. Bbq was clean and made meals easy while the kids swam in the pool. The kids loved all the amenities ping pong, pool, golf, swimming etc. I loved eating on the patio watching the ocean. My absolutely favorite was sleeping with the screen door and listening to the ocean waves. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Great beachside location and beautiful resort

We stayed here for 9 nights in May 2023, visiting from Scotland. The grounds are beautiful (although easy to get lost in!) the common areas of the building are a little tired and dated, especially the elevators! The complex is regularly patrolled and feels very safe. The apartment was perfect for our needs. There were 3 of us (myself, husband and adult daughter), with visits from 3 relatives during our stay. Everyone was able to park if required, but do be sure to have your visitors display their parking passes and move the car every 24 hours… they DO check up on this… by brother’s tyres were chalk marked by patrollers so they’d know if you haven’t moved. The kitchen was very well supplied with pots, pans, glassware and dishes. Great size fridge, oven and microwave. Both bathrooms although clean and functional could do with updating, but not a major issue. I do have a warning for those using the master bedroom upstairs. The corners of the footboard on the bed are sharp and at a lethal angle… within the first 24 hours we had both really hurt our knees/shins walking into them! I resolved the problem by stuffing cushions from the sofa In between the bed frame and the mattress. Just be careful… it’s REALLY sore if you crash into them by accident. Your knees will thank me! We had a great time in Oceanside and the apartment suited us well. If there’s one thing I’d have wished for, it’s some sort of sunshade for the upper balcony area. Otherwise, 10/10!

Nice rental in a great location

North Coast Village is an older complex, but well maintained. The grounds are beautiful and the pool is very nice as well. This unit was exactly as described and was very clean & comfortable. Great layout, with the master bedroom being by itself on the second level. If you’re wondering about the view from the master bedroom balcony, the balcony is surrounded by a rooftop with solar panels on it. It doesn’t obstruct the view of the water, but isn’t particularly attractive. Also, you will hear the train from time to time, but that did not bother us. The location is great and very walkable. We would stay here again when visiting the San Diego area.

Birthday weekend beach getaway

Great condo. Really nice complex close to the beach. Great view from second floor bedroom. Condo was very comfortable and perfect for my birthday weekend at the beach. Had a little trouble finding parking to check in b/c I got there just before 3pm and all available slots were occupied by work trucks - they were doing repair and maintenance at the front of the complex. Ended up paying for parking in the public lot across the street - $5 so not horrible. Grounds were beautiful and pool looked good too but didn’t go in on this visit. Overall great weekend and would rent again!

Home Away from Home

This property makes you feel like you are on a tropical island! We loved how close we were to everything. We were able to walk almost everywhere we wanted to go. The condo worked perfectly for our family. We loved sitting on the rooftop watching the sunset. We will be back FOR SURE!

Secret Hideaway!

We enjoyed our days. Quiet spot. Updating could be done for sure but overall very comfortable. Our weather was not good, but we rallied. A few things to think about, kleenex, coffee upon arrival, how about a few bags, suran wrap or tin foil? How about shampoo, or a few bath items. There was shower soap but no hand washing soap? We tried to use the gas grills on the property, but only one burner on each grill would turn on. They were clean, but now we know why. Overall good spot, easy in and out. The communication with the rental company A+. Great job. We came to see family and the weather was tough, but fun was had by all. Thank you.

Worth it!

This is a great place to stay. It was fun watching the surfers every morning from the balcony. The condo it very clean and the beds are comfortable. We enjoyed the swimming pool and hot tub. We came in December and so after swimming in the ocean we would warm up at the hot tub. The village has fun paths that are easy to navigate to the pool or the ocean. This location is amazing too! We were able to walk to the Marina for a sailboat ride and eat a Joe's Crabshack afterwards. We also drove the little way to Seaworld and Zoo. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting to visit Oceanside. It is easy to check in and checkout. You have the best of all worlds right here!
