The room I stayed at was added to the property on the third floor without any insulation, so it was extremely hot during the day not even the A/C was helpful and during night very cold. Not a good experience at all considering it is supposed to be the best room in the property.

Location of this hotel was perfect. It was easy for us to get to most of the popular spots in the central Oaxaca. We stayed in the top room with a private balcony and enjoyed the view of the street and the town especially at night.

Excellent service from staff specially the guy that works the night shift. What I would've change is the location of my room it was one of the first ones in the entrace, gets a little loud right around 8am I've stayed before on the upper floors and it was a better experience. Overall I cant wait for my next trip so I can stay at this place.

Lovely, quiet hotel in a great location

Fantastic location, lovely hotel. Really quiet - especially since it was right in el Centro. Comfortable bed. Nice toiletries. The rooftop deck is a nice addition.

A calm oasis

Casa Antigua was a calm, clean, lovely oasis during the magnificent day of the dead celebrations. Our room was spacious, with fantastic views, and minutes walk from the Zocalo, the cathedral and the numerous parades found in Oaxaca this time of year. If we come back to Oaxaca (fingers crossed), we’ll be staying again!

This is a beautiful historic hotel a bit off the tourist beaten path in central Oaxaca. The service is excellent. The town square is several blocks away but easily walkable. Paid secure parking is 1.5 blocks away. The neighborhood is mixed - some very nice properties and others vacant and tagged with graffiti. Lots of shopping options and food nearby.
