I had a great stay at this hotel, and one of the biggest advantages was its location. Situated right in the heart of the Old City, it’s absolutely ideal for tourists. Most of the city's major sights are easily walkable from the hotel, so you can spend your time exploring instead of commuting. If you do need public transportation, it's conveniently nearby. There’s also a grocery store just around the corner, which made it easy to stock up on snacks and essentials for the room. I really appreciated that convenience. The staff were always warm and welcoming—every time I came or went, they greeted me with a smile, which added a nice personal touch to the experience. Most importantly, I felt safe coming and going from the hotel at all hours. That peace of mind made a big difference during my trip.

Great location if you like to be near the historical part of town, especially if you only have a short time. Another bonus is being close to the train station if you enjoy some exercise rather than taking cabs or buses to get to your destination.

Brilliant time in Nuremberg

Brilliant location in the centre of Nuremberg. The room was very spacious, very clean with fridge and coffee and tea machine. Didn’t hear any noise from outside.

Perfect Hotel in the heart of Old Nuremberg

The Melter never disappoints. It is clean, comfortable, the staff is helpful and kind, the aesthetics are upscale. There are washers and dryers for your use, free of charge. The kitchenette in the room was just right for our needs. The location can't be beat; close to the Haptbanhoff, shopping and dining.

Very nice modern room and accommodations for our small dog was lovely. Breakfast host and staff were awesome and breakfast was delicious. Loved the location to shopping and restaurants. Popular sites like the cathedrals and the castle were all in walking distance. We appreciated the laundry facilities as well.

Amazing stay! Rooms were clean, comfortable, and quite spacious. Room not ready upon arrival but took luggage and the delivered right to our room. Christmas stands right outside the door including Gluwein! So close to Christmas market. Walked from train station.

This property is in a great location within the walls of the old city. Close to restaurants, shopping and Christmas markets. Very walkable. Only used public transportation to visit museums. The train and bus stations are a 7 minute walk.
