The room was great and the staff were friendly and welcoming. One very minor quibble, the light switch to the huge bathroom was not located just inside the door as you would expect. It was 3-4 steps in by the sink. So we kept the light on all night unfortunately to avoid stumbling around in the dark.

The history of this particular building is on display. From the Grand Staircase to the classic reception area, everything in the hotel looks like it was built and maintained by someone who actually cared. The room was clean and the staff were nice. I would definitely stay here again.
