Disliked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, listing accuracy
The pictures for this property were outstanding and I booked before there were any reviews. BEWARE - the construction of this property was substandard and there were cracks everywhere. With these cracks came multiple hives of hornets and wasps. I notified the property manager immediately upon arrival, he did not address AT ALL. No problem… I went and bought Raid and treated the first nest myself. However it rained that night and the hornets came inside through the HVAC system and my son was stung in his bed and had an allergic reaction that we are still treating. Contacted the property manager and he insinuated I was making up the whole thing for a refund. The sewer system was similarly poorly done and you can smell the sewer if you leave the toilet seat up. The long beautiful dock is treacherous and you can barely walk on it which leads to no water, just mud, no beach. The grass was overgrown with stinging thistles everywhere that had me itching. Property manager cut off all contact as soon as I started complaining, which is far from normal for me… DO NOT STAY HERE. I’m from the country and chill about bugs, smell, stings, etc, but this property manager has no business having a property on this platform.
