About this property

Ride or Die Haunt @ Renegade Hideaways

Nestled on the banks of the Saint Joe River, Niles may seem un-assuming but turn a page in history to its more nefarious past. With ease of river access and escape, plenty of natural amusement, and close proximity to larger cities it has sheltered the likes of both Butch Cassidy and Al Capone. Our historic home has been lovingly remodeled to fully provide an escape from the world. Stocked with all you need for criminal luxury. You`ll only need to leave if the gumshoe gets close.

Ride or Die Haunt, is the third unit of our Renegade Hideaways, a lovingly renovated historic home that is close to everything you need for a refuge away. Walking distance to miles of the Saint Joe River Walk, cafes, restaurants, grocery stores, breweries, gyms and even a classic hometown movie theater.

It also is near larger attractions...Lake Michigan beaches, the Wine Trail, outdoor recreation, Notre Dame, South Bend, Saint Joe, and all that pure Michigan has to offer.

A scandalous nod to the Lethal Lovers of yester-year, its the perfect escape from the pressure of a high demand life. Burrow into our 100% linen sheets or take a soak in our vintage copper soaking tub...enjoy a respite from the world.

This is a three-unit home with free street parking.

You share a main entrance with units 1 and 2. Larger parties up to 10 can rent all three units and open up the whole house as it was originally built.

Beautifully redone but also acknowledged as a historic home with its quirks and charms...we think that`s part of its personality. We hope you do too.

We take pride in re-livening old houses and have provided all the lux extras. 100% linen sheets, fully stocked kitchen, fluffy towels and an eclectic edgy decor to help you build all your home away from home hideout memories.

The front and unit doors are all secured with a key pad. You will receive an access code on day of check-in after housekeeping is finished with the house.

I live in a neighboring town and also have a full time assistant to help you with anything you might need during your stay. I am available but allow complete privacy to my guests.

This unit has a room with a queen bed. It also has a studio style living/kitchen area.

There is street parking that is free on the North side of the house.

This is a three unit historic home and some noise may be heard from other units. Please be considerate of neighbors and respect the quiet times of 10pm-8am.

Ride or Die was a very nice stay for a wedding that was nearby. We were not in the unit most of the weekend so simply as a place to sleep, it worked well. For the price we paid, however, it did feel like it was missing some features we were expecting, like a full-length mirror (the only mirror in the bathroom was small, old/weathered), night stand by the bed, as well as coffee. Check-in was also a bit bumpy as the address provided was incorrect, about half a mile from the actual unit. The handle on the door to entrance of the building also needs repair. Other than that, it was a fine, comfortable stay.
