Property was well located geographically,near the train station,beach and dining. but it felt dingy. The carpets are like black-dirty blue and stained,old. There was a sewage kind of smell in the morning and the rooms were super tiny. The duvet colors on the beds were awful...maybe to allow for use without wash...l cringed lying on the bed. The room itself and bath looked clean but there's just this dinginess and feeling of uncleanliness all around. We will not stay at this hotel a 2nd time ..its not worth the price in any way. I will pay $185 per night for a nicer hotel,not this.

Great locarion , great place for it’s price , close enough to the station close enough to beach and rest , staff amazing definitely good place to have if you want to have day trips to monaco cannes etc . 10 min walk to station 10 min walk to amazing rest 10 min walk to beach ( beach has pebbles not sand)

A great 2 star hotel in the centre of Nice. Room was clean and a good size (lovely high ceilings), with everything I needed - comfy bed, air con, good shower - for my one night stay. Staff were friendly and helpful, allowing me to leave my suitcase with them after I'd checked out, while I roamed around Nice (they even allowed my friend to leave her case eventhough she hadn't stayed in the hotel). Hotel located in a quiet area but only 5min walk to shops, restaurants and the sea. I would stay here again.

Bureaucratic

Check-in is at 2:30pm. I arrived at 2:15pm and tried to check-in. They refused. Seriously? 15-minutes early? Never had this before. I only saw a hand full on people there my entire stay so there's zero chance the rooms were all full and they needed that last 15-minutes to finish cleaning my room. It's just bureaucratic.

A good option for accommodation.

This hotel was in a convenient location for both the train station, the beach and the main touristy areas of Nice. The room was nice, a little pricey for what you get but otherwise okay. Front desk were super friendly and helpful and a supermarket is literally right next door. Would probably stay again if we were back in Nice.

For the money this hotel was fine. The aircon didn't work and the morning concierge did not speak enough English (nor I enough French) to convey the fact that this was the case. We left the windows open but it was very noisy.

Bed bugs!

We found bed bugs in the bed and informed the receptionist. We were told the only thing they could do was give us a refund, if we left immediately. We got no help with finding another hotel and were left in the streets of Nice at midnight with no plan of where to go or stay. 2 weeks later we had not received the refund. When I contacted them I was told to take it up with hotels.com.

The hotel is located on a one-way street, with an apartment building across the street, a grocery store and pub on one side, and a small restaurant on the other side. It is also a thoroughfare for for traffic to the train station (Gare du Nice) about 5 blocks north. This neighborhood is conducive to a lot of late-night pedestrian traffic, especially on the weekend. Loud, drunken chatter (and yelling) persisted into the early morning. Between 2200-2230 hrs the city drives by and pick up trash nightly. Between 0600-0630 in the mornings, deliveries are made to the grocery store next door, including the stocking of pallets. This can impact sleep easily. This hotel is not a luxury property but be prepared to be immersed into the town's activities just outside your window. Rooms were spartan but adequate. Our bed linens were not changed during our 9-day stay and some of our group's rooms were not cleaned daily. The bath tubs did not have shower curtains - this may be a cultural "feature" - which made keeping the bathroom floor dry a real challenge. Some attention to the black mold growing in the grout between the bathroom tiles is advised. Staff were generally helpful although they were not familiar with amenities of interest to Tourist s (Tourist Office, car rental office, location of gas stations, etc.). They should also fix the drink vending machine in the lobby. The hotel is "budget" but no serious complaints; the money we saved on lodging was spent at restaurants.

I liked the location and the staff was awesome! Very kind and friendly. They also stored our luggage for free while we walked around after checking out. The rooms are tiny, with no frig (for our water bottles) or coffee maker. The tub shower needs a curtain! It was very difficult to maneuver the shower head without spraying the entire bathroom.

The Little Palace

My room was dated but very clean. A bit of 4:30am street noise each morning from a delivery truck, with the windows open, but I enjoy the fresh air and local sounds. Staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. It was a great location, laundry 1 block away and everything I was looking for within walking distance. Good value $$

Expensive for the quality of the room, shower didn’t have a door so water went everywhere. Also ask the receptionist about 3 times where the best place to park was and she gave us different answers each time. Meaning we moving our car 3 times

No thrills Hotel, did the job.

Little Palace is centrally located and close to the beach. Room is basic, clean and bed was comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. It's ultimately a 2 star hotel and does the job.
