Nice in Nice!

The hotel is lovely in a fantastic location. So easy for the airport tram, 15 min walk to main plaza, restaurants area etc. 20 mins walk to main train station max or a short bus ride. Beautiful hotel in old style with open views across the Riviera. Staff were very helpful and super nice. Especially the breakfast staff who chatted away to us and always had a smile on their face despite some very rude guests who need to catch themselves on! Room was nice, we had classic room at the side on fourth floor. It did have a view of the sea as such but sadly they were doing some maintenance and after two days we had scaffold outside our window. But for all the time we spent in room during day it didn’t matter & nice to see hotel was being well maintained. The only criticism was the sealant around bath was a little tired with some mould and could do with replacing, room 404. Otherwise it was really nice. Lovely bed and maid was very efficient thank you. Breakfast was very tasty with a great selection. Croissants made in hotel were delicious. Overall it was very good value for money a lovely location and I would definitely come back. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Amazing hotel. It is right in the Premenade des Anglais. Everything is walking distance from this hotel. Literally next door is the famous Negresco hotel on left and Westminster on right. Negresco is under remodeling right now.

As this was our 1st stay here, I was worried about some of the negative reviews. My 3 night stay was nothing but fantastic. My room had all the amenities with a partial ocean view and it was very clean and comfortable. Besides, I don't normally eat continental beakfast, But it was good enough for me.

booked room with city view ( privilege ) for 5 nights .They decided to give us a room on high floor looking at building wall not a city view .We went for a dinner and when we come back the person from the reception found a better room for us ( after they told us that the rooms are all gone)a little bigger with garden and partial sea view.This made our first trip to Nice and Valentines day better .Breakfast was really nice Friday, Sat and Sunday.Monday and Tuesday a lot of items were not available and know we are in France but having mostly bread ( some of the baking goods were old (cakes) ) and missing salmon, hash browns and more items was not great.

Great location and staff very friendly.....general amenities let this hotel down sadly....even thought they say theres a bar there isent and getting a simple coffee can be difficult ..one lift out of two not working....some areas look tired and bathrooms need updating but beds are really comfortable and breakfast buffet has a good choice....for the price i would stay here again
