I had a little issue with my room key on the 1st night but the manager fixed this promptly & also upgrade me to a suite to compensate for this. The staff are very friendly & very helpful. Great location & the best balcony views of the sea

It was in the heart of Nice on the Promenade des Anglais and was priced accordingly. I have traveled considerably and found the staff unhelpful. I had thought I had paid for my entire stay only to be asked to pay an extra tax 27.84 Euros that was deducted from the 400 Euros they held for possible extra fees. I do not like surprises in bills.

The hotel was very old fashion and needs some renovation. The carpet in the room looked terrible, the floor had creaky sound and all the furniture in the room were too old. The only thing we enjoyed was the balcony that facing the promenade.

Lovely hotel in excellent location. Breakfast is delicious and served in a lovely setting. Dinner at the hotel restaurant is also quite good, and there are lots of restaurants along the Promenade des Anglais. Easy access to boardwalk and beaches.

Overall, as a Canadian resident, I wouldn’t say this is a 4 star hotel, maybe closer to a 3. Location was perfect, our view was amazing. Nobody took our luggage up, I had to go get it. Hôtel needs upgrade but I do understand it is very old. Mould all over shower. No room service. It was very nice they gave us a bottle of champagne for anniversary.
