You get what you get. A place to lay your head. There is no AC, so we attempted to leave the balcony door open, but the sea lions were so loud we had to shut the door! (This is not the hotel’s fault, just an FYI so others know as I was surprised to find zero heat/ac controls in the room).

Ants & spiders. Horrible bed. Front desk did not care. They acted like the get a lot of complaints.
