I was told I could get a late checkout from 11 to 2. The day manager gave 1 hour. I even offered to pay for the extra hours I was still told no. Thanks to his wonderful service I was stuck in an airport for 6 hours because my flight was switched. I even explained all of this and was still told no.

Location and the staff was friendly. Rooms are not 5star but clean and comfortable. Unfortunatelu the outdoor heated pool and hot tub closed the week before our arrival. But loved the location and the view from our balcony.

Beautiful location. Our stay was in early Nov. Because the property is not fully winterized, our bathroom was quite cold with outside air seeping in. And we strongly disagreed with the “resort fee” which would have included the pool and outdoor grounds, but in our case, included (we were told) the parking spot (in a nearly empty lot) and breakfast that was a standard highway hotel breakfast, nothing special. With a little effort, this could have been a five. It’s a stretch to give it a four.

Lovely old New England oceanfront property, large balcony, friendly and attentive staff… wife indicated she’d definitely stay again in future. One ding is no counter space in bathroom for her prettiness tools and products due to cavernous farm sink style vanity.
