needs a make over and maintained better. dirty and paint peeling, pubic hair in shower, hair on floor, table dirty. need I go on. Worst and last La Quinta I stay in.

Recently I stayed ta the La Quinta in New Haven, Connecticut. We had to change rooms three times due to unlivable conditions, 1st we were given #602 were the recliner chair was broken and caused me to fall forward when trying to get up; in room #621 the entrance light was out and you could not see into the room until the curtains (drapers) were opened to let in the sunlight; #601 the water was cold and had to run for one hour to get hot water, and then the water became boiling HOT and the carpets were badly stained and soiled in the room and in the hallways. The carpets in the hallways were wrinkled. The smoke detector was pop-corn painted and possible could not work, the exhaust vent in the bathroom was covered with dust and dirt. The beds in the room were not made up each day, and there was not fresh linin each day; we had to ask for fresh linin each day. The bathtub was not cleaned each day; because there was a deliberately place soap stain that was not remove, causing us to have to take showers. this was the worst hotel that I have ever stayed in.

Like. Convenient location and reasonable price, friendly staff, nice view. Dislike. Apple core in ice bucket on arrival, stains on drapes and debris in carpets in hallways. Need better housekeeping.
