Very clean, nice kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms. Backyard is nice with lots of room, peaceful. We would definitely come back to stay longer.

Very Nice Place

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The place was great for the general area. Very clean and well kept. The open floor plan made it a fun place to hang out at with family. The management company kept great communication throughout the duration and everything else about it was just great. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend to anyone coming out to hang out in the area.

This property was by far the most updated, clean, and accommodating vrbo that we’ve stayed in. It is perfect location to get to all of the fun on the river!

The house was everything as listed. There was a cemetery behind the backyard fence and the neighbor across the street played music for most of the night and had swastika emblems all of their house.The business itself that rented the house was very informative with information about checking in and out

It was nicely furnished and clean (looks just like the pictures), and had nice backyard for our puppy to enjoy! The host was very professional and responsive. We would definitely stay here again.

Christmas rendezvous with family

Three family members met up for a Christmas vacation in Hill Country. The house was very comfortable and we were quite happy with the accommodations. The neighborhood is a mix of upscale and older homes, which was surprising to us, but turned out not to be a problem. We heartily recommend this house to others.

Wished the house was in a better location!

The property was excellent but where the property is situated not good for us. We could not take our dog to walk in the mornings around the neighborhood as some neighbors were not nice. Overall we enjoyed our stay in this property.

The back yard was not mowed some areas were 12 inches tall. The Fridge and freezer were unsafe for food. Did not cool correctly. Has a note on fridge not to adjust temperature or it would effect the efficiency. But it was not cold when we arrived. We had to buy ice and keep our food cold in ice chests. The house across from rental had swirling colored lights that ran all night long and unsightly junk all over there front yard and there dogs would rush us at night when we cam home from dining. The rental was clean inside and beautifully decorated. Would be easier if they had the existing instructions all in a booklet.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Settler House is well equipped, clean and a very comfortable stay. The fenced back yard is great for fur buddies. The location is perfect if you want to be in a less busy area with access to close by groceries and restaurants. New Braunfels Escape and the property owner are very accommodating and quick to respond to make a pleasant stay. We would definitely stay there for future visits to the area and would recommend to our friends.

Family Thanksgiving Function

Came to stay for the weekend to see family for a Thanksgiving gathering. We need a place to stay near by. The home was very clean and backyard was cute as could be minus the surprise cemetery across the fence that we were able to see after sunset. The neighborhood was not ideal for what we paid but it was a clean place to lay our head. We pretty much just slept there but kind of felt on the edge with all the notes and threats of fines. Kind of made us feel as if we needed to “walk on eggshells” while we were there. Of all the AB&B’s Ive stayed at, I have to say I felt the least relaxed here. It was very clean is tge best thing I can really say about it.
