Laguna Vista Tree House, Cloud Lane

Laguna Vista Tree Haus is a unique 4 bedroom 3 bath Tree House! Bring up to 14 guests to enjoy a much needed weekend getaway. There is a large warp around deck in the front. As you step inside the tree house you will be in the living room area. The complete kitchen to the left of living room has pots and pans to cook meals. After a long day its time for a good night's sleep. In the first bedroom there is a king bed with bathroom, the second bedroom has two queen beds. There is a bathroom that can be accessible from the living room or from the 2nd bedroom. The 3rd bedroom has 2 queen beds and private bathroom. The 4th bedroom for the kiddos or extra guests we have a bunk bed and a fold-out (sofa bed). There is outdoor furniture underneath the tree house.

Laguna Vista Tree Haus is one of four tree houses around the shared pool. In addition to the tree houses we have the Lodge and two suites.

You will have access to the shared large walk-in swimming pool, cabana, mini children's playground and hot tub. There is plenty of seating outside and each of our properties has their own bbq grills. As you step into the pool it starts shallow and gets deeper so all ages can enjoy. The swimming pool has 17 swim up bar stools, sorry no bar tender! Bring your own drinks and refresh yourself. The Guadalupe River at Lake Dunlap is a short walk down the hill where you have access to only fishing or kayaking. Tubing is upstream from this property about 3 to 4 miles.

It's from 2 to 4 miles to most attractions to include Schlitterbahn Waterpark, Gruene & Gruene Hall, Floating the Rivers, Shops, Restaurants, Wineries and much more!

I really enjoyed the size of this property. I have 9 children and my mom was traveling with us so that made us a party of 12. This place was more than big enough. And so pretty! Too cold to enjoy the pool but i would come back if i needed to.

Baptist hospital of beaumont 2ne nurses team building weekend

Nurse manager planning a fun weekend for her staff. We enjoyed the pool. The house was clean. Wi-Fi was a bit sketchy but there is a tin roof therefore expected. Great location. Had a great time.

River Trip

This property is awesome. The salt water pool in the middle is shared between the different houses on the property, but there is still plenty of room for everyone. It’s in a great location to just about anything whether that be hanging out by the water or heading into downtown New Braunfels for a night on the town. I’d recommend this place for just about anyone. I’ll definitely be back in the future.

Perfect for large group!

This house only got four stars because it is located in and around a junkyard. I wouldn't let that scare me away from renting again, though. The house is nice and clean and sleeps a large group perfectly and the number of bathrooms is great for a lot of people. Although we didn't get to use the pool, it was just as the pictures depicted and looked clean as well. The proximity to the water is super close, too. It also is a close drive to everything in NB, which was a big selling point for us as well. If you're planning to cook meals, the kitchen may not be as conducive to cooking for a large group and there is only enough space for everybody to sit if you're sitting outside.

The place isn’t really on the river it was a pretty good walk down hill. Once you get down it’s filled with boats and there is no way to actually get in the water especially if you have kids! When we arrived to the property the grounds looked like a scrap yard! It wasn’t really near anything really that was worth going to we had about a 20 min drive to spots. The house was great except cleaning supplies were little to none. The pool was great except our view from porch was taken because the half pipe wall that takes away the pool view. Also we’re pretty sure the grounds keeper stole our yeti cooler when he was picking up trash! Overall it was extremely over priced for what it appears in the pictures.

Laguna vista property

Overaĺl was a good place to stay. Had issues with the sink and dishwasher. Water started backing up from the sink into the dishwasher onto the floor. Faucet wouldn't rotate. Dishwasher wasn't screwed in place would fall out if you open the door. Stove and oven was wobbly as well. We called Tom about the water backup and disposal and he had someone come out right away. But couldn't be fixed right then. It just got worse then night before we left. And there was food and trash in between where the couch connects. The river is low and under construction hard to get down to it. But the pool was great and met some great people.

Family getaway with some disappointment

House configuration was exactly what we needed and served the purpose of our family vacation with adequate sleeping spaces and bathrooms. The ad was a bit misleading as far as condition of the property and did not reveal that the complex is surrounded by an eclectic collection of junk. The home was not thoroughly cleaned and the dishwasher and garbage disposal were not working and had a very unpleasant odor. My husband fixed them both and remedied the odor. The ceiling fan in the back bedroom was dangling by wires and my son fixed that, but it was too off balance to use. The worst part were the noisy neighbors who stayed up late each night with loud music and overran the pool area with many guests of thier own for a grown womans birthday party. We didn't spend as much time at the property as we planned to, due to the large rambunctious group but we did enjoy New Braunfels city park and aquatic center, so it was not a total loss. I realize the property is not responsible for the inconsiderate actions of its guests, but for the price I would have expected rules to be enforced more stringently.

Good with some needed improvements.

Property had leaks which caused puddles in kitchen and bedroom with bunk beds. Pool looked nice but did not use due to weather. House shakes. Toiletries were not high quality. Did not use kitchen so I don't know if everything worked. TV was very old and small. It served our purpose but did not spend a lot of time in property during the day for full review.

Family trip

The house was great, clean and well stocked, but it is located next to a junk yard!! The pool was also great. There were yellow jacket hives everywhere. We had three people stung. The maintenance crew needs to do a weekly check for the hives. The BBQ grills were too nasty to use so we had to buy our own. We enjoyed our stay, but will not stay there again due to the bad location.

Loved our stay, went with 3 families, we each had a room, with fresh AC. Gas station, HEB and food close by. Host was very accommodating. Pool was a plus for the kids. Would totally recommend and stay again!
