For a couple of years now my husband and I have been staying at the smaller cabin on the property. We keep coming back because we absolutely love everything about it. Each year we enjoy checking out this cabin as well and have been waiting for it to be avaliable to stay in. The Burton's know what they are doing!!! We have stayed in many short term rentals throughout the contry over the years. Staying at the Burton's cabins has been by far the best experience we have had yet. This is a unique stay where history has been preserved for guests to have the experience of what life would have been like over 200 years ago, but with the modern conveniences we have come to enjoy and depend on. We first stayed here because of its proximity to Nashville, more recently we have found that we love the town of Hendersonville and spend most of our time either relaxing in the coziness of the cabin or enjoy the shopping and dining nearby. This is the perfect spot for the city boy and country girl to come together and enjoy a few days away from the busy life we leave behind. The kitchen is ready to go with everything you need. The sitting area is comfy with 2 couches, lots of games, and a chess board! The front porch is a great spot to sit and relax while bird and squirrel watching. Upstairs is very spacious with one of the most comfy beds ever. The full bath has everything needed complete with great lighting for makeup application. The cleanliness is outstanding!Nothing is missing.
