Safe and sound

Our stay started off with us not being able to find our way from the bus station and Alessandro was so kind to meet us at the piazza to accompany us to his B&B. As soon as we entered the apartment we instantly felt at home, safe and sound. The apartment and the rooms were super clean and soundproof with a balcony. The bed comfortable and the bathroom was well equipped. Thank you Alessandro for your hospitality.

Lovely place run by a delightful family

Very large and really comfortable room. Relais del Principe is run by a delightful, friendly and welcoming family. It is also a perfect place to discover Naples and the surrounding area from as it is close to the old city and the main transport hub. Easy to get to both Herculaneum and Pompeii by the local versuvio train.

Very close to the Metro Station and Train station, but the surrounding properties can be very dirty and redown. Our property was located in what looks like a rundown street, and entering the bldg. you must enter thru a very large wooden double door, and you enter a hallway, that may or may not have a security guard stationed. Then must go thru another security gate to access the stairs with one elevator. The hotel is located on the 3rd floor, but once you go thru their security door, you walk into a very clean modern reception area/breakfast room. Our room was very clean and updated. Large bedroom, closet and large bathroom. We were also located on a street side with balcony. Very noisy street, but once you closed the thick pane double doors, there was no noise and we had blackout curtains. We had no issues our entire stay, and were very happy with the accommodations. The staff were very helpful and assisted with all our requests and questions. Would definitely stay again. There were lots of restaurants and eateries to choose from within very short walking distance.

I inquired about the benefit of “sparkling wine daily” . We informed them of approximate time of arrival 2 pm in a text to the owner but he said if he had known of time of arrival, he would have given the sparkling wine. He promised to give the day of our departure but never did.. The location is so -so and we were at a loss how to get there since there were no instructions of using the antiquated lift to the 2nd flr. We’re it not for concerned neighbors, we wouldn’t have known where to go in the building!!!
