Fabulous gem of a hotel

This boutique family run hotel is in an ideal spot overlooking the pretty harbour of Bacoli. The hotel is recently renovated and is to a high standard. We had a room with a terrace, small kitchenette and bathroom with a fabulous large shower. The owners made us feel very welcome and helped arrange taxis . It’s only a short walk to the lovely golden sandy beach with clear blue sea. There are restaurants next to the hotel on the harbour but it’s also only a short walk into the town of Bacoli or to the restaurants on the beach. The little two ring hob is enough to make breakfast or snacks and there is a good supermarket just across the road. We walked to the train station at Torregaveta , approx 40 mins, but from here you can get the train into Naples and out to Pompei. You can walk all the way round the lovely lagoons approx 3k. We loved this side of the Bay of Naples and unspoilt bit of real Italy, well worth a visit.
