The staff went over and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Service was exceptional and the room was absolutely clean, spacious and we had the perfect ocean side view. I will definitely come back here the next time I visit beautiful Napier. I will recommend this hotel to my friends and family.

FIND SOMEWHRE ELSE - Great motel, terrible customer service - for $220.00 a night there are lots of better options in Napier with good service. Third time staying here, but new owners - terrible service. Requested ground floor room, received email confirmation after booking it would be okay. Arrived - got 3rd level, up stairs, no milk. We were delayed several hours due to getting lost with road diversions & both husband and wife were rude and unhelpful, several calls and texts just to be told room was left open - when I responded I would be sharing the ordeal in my customer review...then no communication back at all. Considering we were there lucky 8 hours before we had to depart early next morning - easy money for them, but made us feel like we had created the biggest problems for them and were a real problem. Never staying there again.

The staff support was non existent, this was never a four star facility, a drunken brawl developed on our third night, staff were aware of the problem from around 7pm but the police were not called until very late in the evening when the disturbance was out of control, with Expedia's no returns no matter the cause left us heavily out of pocket, no way could we feel safe in that environment
