Ahuriri is a small boutique village 5 minues drive from the Napier CBD. East Pier in Ahuriri offers a lovely location with the rooms having ocean views with free on site parking. Studio room was spacious and the bed so comfortable. On site restaurant is ideal for those who dont want to venture out for all their meals. There are plenty of good restaurants, cafes and bars in walking distance of East Pier or you can drive into the CBD (5 minutes) if preferred or to one of the many wineries around the district. Check-in and check-out was easy. Staff were friendly and helpful. On site storage for bikes was ideal for us, as were the handy bikes trails.

Posh hotel with an ocean view.

The room my sister and I booked had a king bed, but after checking-in we asked the front desk to turn the king bed into two twins. They performed this service kindly and expeditiously. I was so impressed with the housekeeping and front desk staff. The room was well-appointed and the shower was a well-designed dream.

Loved the location - view of the ocean, lots of lovely cafes nearby, right by the beach. We were in room 1, which was on the end downstairs and nice and quiet. Decent-sized, clean rooms. Loved the walk-in shower! The room had cutlery, utensils, crockery and microwave which was handy. Plenty of storage space. Easy parking. Bar and restaurant onsite so option for room service too. Would happily return!
