Check out was closed between 12-4pm - even though I was given information we could check in from 2pm - This was also on their own website and information given to my wife who booked via another website to. So arriving a 2.20pm in the pouring rain from an early am flight wasn't ideal. All shut up - nowhere to stand except in the porch and an hour wait for staff to arrive around 3.30pm - not an ideal start - Limited tea/coffee n towels also experienced - Ok on a budget, but maybe a bit more expected after check in

Breakfast good distance from city a slight problem getting there but ...there is good transport links to hotel via a tram number 1 then change to bus 85 to marche commun Then walk through a business park to hotel about 7 minutes that was the only option of you don't have a car like me

The staff was friendly and helpful but the room was not clean. There were tiny gnats dead in front of the window and in the bathroom. The room was also a bit dusty, as if it hadn't been opened / aired for a while.

It was a standard Hotel who inreased prices substantially for Rugby on Sat evening. Breakfast was good selection. Staff helpful and I wanted to call out Mahilys who was exceptionally good and helpful

Simple cosy room but noisy

Perfect room for basically somewhere just to get your head down for the night. No frills room. Unfortunately I got a very noisy room. Being located on the ground floor right outside the car park. You can hear cars arriving and doors slamming, a coach decided to arrive around midnight to park and had its reversing noisy sensors going off for ages. Neighbours were noisy, with the TV and them talking at 2am. So all in all very little sleep

Good, clean hotel, although a little dated

WiFi on Android phones, "no internet", yet laptop connected to WiFi without any problem. The shower is over the bath, with associated slip risk. We had to get an extra towel to put in the bottom of the bath to make it less slippery. Only I chair (and a stool). Reasonably quiet, despite not being double glazed, although some nights were not busy. The staff were very obliging and helpful. Turning off the main road, their signage is difficult to see. We missed it completely at first, because of the confusing address. The address given is by the hotel is 23 boulevard des Patureaux, according to my SatNav, there is no such number. I think it should perhaps be 2-3. There is good parking with a secured gate after hours. There is no lift if you are allocated a second floor unit. Although a bit dated, overall it is quite a reasonable and clean hotel.

Worth considering

Good location/access and competitvely priced. Very good breakfast (for a hotel in France) with option of eggs and bacon. The best hotel of the four I've stayed at in Nantes.

Bed quite hard. A few bugs in the otherwise very clean room. Could do with a paint in places but not much to complain about. Traffic passing can be heard. Near a busy road but not very loud.

Really good value for money thankyou. Great bed and pillows. Nice to have tea and coffee with kettle in room and a bottle of water. Lovely receptionist and welcome. Had 2 dogs too and made to feel welcome with safe place to let them do their business

Nice hotel great for a short stay

We needed a hotel for an overnight stay and were very happy with this one. The room was small, but clean and comfortable. The price was excellent. The staff were friendly and efficient.

Excellent stop-over

A very comfortable place to stay. We were there for 3 nights in the most atrocious weather conditions but were warm and cosy. My only regret is that we were not aware until we checked in that dinner is not available on Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings. I made this comment after checking in and I compliment the hotel on rectifying the description immediately. Fortunately food was not far away!

Great low budget hotel to spent time in.

The hotel was clean and very quite. The breakfast was very enjoyable and plenty to eat. It was near a small canter with few shops and restaurants. But you would need transport to go to Nantes.
