Getaway weekend

We didn’t let a little rain in the forecast dampen our beach getaway. Fortunately, the showers passed quickly, and we enjoyed plenty of sunshine. Visiting just after Memorial Day, before the summer rush, was perfect timing. The front desk staff was warm and welcoming, setting a great tone for our stay. The hotel may not be fancy, but it was ideal for a long weekend. The proximity to the beach was a major plus. Our spacious room was cozy and comfortable, though the sitting area could use better lighting and the bathroom would benefit from some shelving for toiletries. These minor issues didn’t detract from our fantastic experience. Pet owners will love that this hotel is pet-friendly. We saw plenty of happy dogs near our room, adding to the friendly vibe.

Loved the location of the property. Parking was easy. Did not like having to haul all of our suitcases and cooler up three flights of stairs. Old motel that was redone. No amenities. Bathroom was extremely small without even a small countertop to put anything on. The walls were so thin I could hear a normal conversation in the room next door and hear them coughing and sneezing.

I brought my boat with me, and the staff was able to find a parking area for me, where I could see my boat from my room. Valerie was super communicative and AMAZING! The room was super clean, accommodating for my family of 4, and it served its purpose. The pool, although not heated, was amazing to have a relief to the salt water for my son. Would we come back? Yes we will!!!
