The quality inn & suites in Lufkin Texas is poorly managed and not properly cleaned up to the standards of a good hotel. I stayed recently on may 18th 2026 and found ticks in the room by the shower and when brought up they tried to just kill it and not do anything about it..watch where you book..sometimes cheaper isn’t better.

Furniture in room was falling apart could not sit to eat. Alarm clock did not work, toliet paper holder came out of the wall. Carpet was dirt, there were people in the parking lot cooking on a grill. Lots of people just in the lot conversating.

Ac was broken and after finding roaches in the dresser drawers that weren’t broken we decided not to eat breakfast. Also there were bugs in the bathroom - the lamp was broken and the bathroom door was rotted or chewed out on the bottom inside the bathroom. The bath tub drain was non existent

I used to live in Lufkin and figured the hotel would be pretty good if it's associated with one of Lufkin's best restaurants. I was VERY wrong!!! Here are some pictures to prove it. I have no clue why we were given the handicap room. But it was what it was. We didn't even shower, we just wanted to get out of there!
