Bathroom door missing handle, outlet box hanging from wall. Mold in shower caulking should be removed and replaced. Older hotel needs $$ to bring up to par.

The towels were washed but old and faded. Room had a stench. I could hear alarms from all the rooms around me. Breakfast was barely anything compared to Super 8 which was less expensive than this.

You get what you pay for. The rooms we okay. Beds were very comfortable. My only issues were the cleanliness or lack thereof and the shower. Walls could use a good cleaning and new paint job. The water pressure in the shower was horrible.

It’s nice for a Motel. Beds are not horrible and room was clean. Definitely worked for my need at the time and being close to SFA was why I picked it.

THE WORST!!!

Pros: NOTHING!!! Only choose this hotel because it's close to Stephen F Austin State University and I was there visiting my daughter who is a student at SFA
Cons: Hotel is old, the rooms have not been updated probably since built. Room showed evidence wallpaper border had been removed but walls not repainted.
Experience was so bad we could not stay and left after 2 hours. First could not get the door unlocked although the clerk reprogrammed the key twice, this should have been a clue things would only go down hill from there.. Finally, clerk was able to get door open. We entered the room only to find a nasty room that obviously had not been cleaned thoroughly for quite some time. Not only was there someone's leftover food in the refrigerator but the bathroom floor was sticky (either not mopped or mopped with a dirty mop). We tried turning the air conditioner on to circulate air because the room was so stuffy. But there was so much dust, dirt and particles inside the vents blowing out when we turned it on we had to turn it off. The last straw, my daughter was unable to get an internet signal for the free WiFi from our room. We went to the lobby and was unable to get a signal there either. We were told by the clerk other guests could get a signal on their smartphones in the lobby. I informed the clerk my daughter needed to study in the room we had just paid for and not in the lobby but that was impossible because in addition to no WiFi access there was also dim lighting in the room. There was one very dim ceiling light and two small wall lamps with dingy/dirty lamp shades. The light bulbs must have been 25-30 watts. The clerk asked if there was a desk lamp. I informed him there was no desk lamp to which he responded he could get one from another room. REALLY!! NO THANK YOU!
