My stay at Fosshotel Myvatn was truly enjoyable. The hotel is modern, stylish, and extremely well maintained. Its location is perfect for visiting all the main sights around Lake Mývatn. The room was comfortable, the facilities were excellent, and the breakfast offered a very good selection. I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel dining room overlooks the lake and has an amazing view. The facilities are good and rooms have a Juliet balcony to get some fresh air, which is a nice change. The breakfast was the best of all the Iceland hotels I stayed at.

Our room was modern, spotless, and very comfortable—and the large window was the best part: we were able to see the Northern Lights from our room without even going outside, which was unforgettable. The on-site restaurant was also excellent with great views, and everything from check-in to parking was easy. Perfect base for exploring the Mývatn area.
