This isn't Paradise
Ivy informed me that housekeeping would visit daily to remove trash and provide fresh linens; however, this claim proved to be inaccurate. It is important to note that the room we received did not match the depiction that led me to make my reservation. The suite description should include a disclaimer stating: "Rooms may not reflect the condition shown in promotional materials, and furnishings may vary." The partial ocean view was limited, requiring one to stand at an awkward angle by the broken dresser to catch a glimpse of the ocean. The overall condition of the room was unsatisfactory. It lacked proper cleanliness. The lamp displayed a frayed cord and signs of rust, and the microwave was, in one word, nasty. The bathtub needs to be removed. At check-in, the bathroom emitted an unpleasant odor reminiscent of urine, and the floors appeared to have not been adequately cleaned. During my discussions with the front desk, I learned that I had unknowingly booked an Airbnb, which was not indicated at the time of reservation. I acknowledge my oversight in this matter. What is particularly troubling is the response I received regarding maintenance, which stated, "If it is not broken, we do not fix it." Additionally, I was advised that the furnishings may not meet my expectations, with the suggestion to enjoy the Tiki Hut and the wading pool. However, I did not choose to stay at this establishment to contend with its 3 pools and hot tubs, which were constantly occupied by children.
