Foreigners please beware of this hotel! This place is a scam and a serious health hazard. I booked a couple of nights here, and as soon as I entered the room there was a strong smell of oil or gas. Within minutes, I felt nauseous and dizzy. I opened the balcony windows for fresh air, but the odor only got stronger. When I went to the front desk, the staff pretended they would help but then tried to gaslight me, saying the smell was “from the ocean.” As a frequent traveler, I know what the sea smells like — this was clearly not it. They offered me another room, but the same awful smell was there too. I decided the place would not be a good fit for me because how sick I felt instantly. I got a headache and felt very nauseous. They said they would refund me and I decided to book another hotel. I have since finished my trip and they refuse to refund me. This place is honestly a scam. Avoid at all cost. They also try to get you to put down a deposit that sounds like incidentals but is really trying to force your hand at spending at the hotel further No guest should have to choose between their health and their hotel stay. If you sort the reviews from lowest to highest, you’ll see that other travelers have reported the same issue before. This is not an isolated incident. For your own safety, do not stay here. Your health is far more important than risking exposure to oil fumes.

The stay was absolutely amazing, staff are friendly and attentive. Our cleaner was so nice and went out of their way to make it a special birthday for my husband! I would highly recommend this hotel - the only downside (which is not of the hotel) is that you can only be taken by a Blue taxi which is very expensive 75% more than Otaxi in Oman, they were extremely hostile and rude when you tell them you just want a one way trip I did not like this.

This resort was absolutely beautiful! The staff especially WAQAS was amazing, he went above and beyond to get me the right room and had it set up nicely for me. I never felt so at home. The food was delicious. Jumeirah Muscat Bay really stole my heart and I cannot wait to go back! I loved my time there. Also the beach is soooo beautiful, soft sand, clean, warm water, this is a slice of heaven!

We had a great time at this hotel! They have thought of everything! The checking to the turndown service and little gifts to the little snacks at the pool throughout the day such as ice cream and lemonade. Everything is so close the pool and beach were amazing and probably the best sea I've swam in! The dining options were limited and we would have preferred more options on the menu! It's also pretty pricey but luxury! Checkout was perfect and Sumnina was great! All the other staff were also super friendly and can't fault the attention to service in restaurants poolside and also room cleaning

Beautiful country and really nice convenient resort. The staff was Amazing, professional and very helpful! The only downside is that there was nothing much to do at night in the resort, but other than that if you want a peaceful relaxing place vacation.
