Short Getaway

Enjoyed our stay in this well appointed beach cottage! The interior looked newly remodeled and decorated in coastal decor. The master bed was very comfortable and so was the daybed. The golf cart was great to get to the beach especially since I have bad knees, but the walk was short to the beach. I liked having a private parking lot and easy access to the beach as well as a bathroom and outside shower to rinse off the sand. The owner was very prompt to answer questions and concerns. We hope to return with 3 of our older grandchildren. The gated community has pools, playgrounds and ponds as well as friendly neighbors. A nice retreat for a retired couple or a family and friends. We hope to return in the future!

Great Neighborhood!

We loved staying in this neighborhood with so many great amenities. The pool, splash pad, and hot tub were a huge hit. Access to the golf cart for quick trips around the neighborhood were very convenient - especially to our own private parking lot across the street for easy access to the beach. We did not have great weather during the stay, but the hosts were responsive to our questions and were able to quickly address any concerns we had. The house had more than enough space for our family of 4 and even had some games available to play for the kids. Beds were comfy and plenty of extra towels, blankets, and pillows for getting cozy and watching movies. Just a great spot for a family with easy access to all of the great activities to do just a short drive away.

Location and Quality - Others were envious

The location is phenomenal! 2 blocks from the beach entrance. We met several other family members who were staying in other homes within the same community. Every single one were envious of this unit. Spacious, updated, clean....great layout. The unit is very nicely apportioned and supplied! You won't be disappointed with this property. I know we had other family members wanting to book this property for the next trip.

Great house for beach stay

Home owner was great communicator and house was perfect! Very clean and comes with golf cart for community use and to drive you up to beach. Although you can walk to beach in less than five minutes. Had a great stay.

Relax and unwind

Our stay was very nice. Owners were easy to work with. Location and home were excellent. Quiet area even on Memorial Day week! The golf cart topped it off as we could get to beach or pool or hot tub or just ride around.

Wonderful Attention to Detail!

We loved staying at this beach house. There were so many thoughtful touches throughout the house that made our stay more convenient and comfortable! Most beach houses are just an empty shell with no way to organize your things so you feel more at home, but not this one. The location is great, close to the beach and great view of a couple ponds, too. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others!

Great location

Surfside beach is the perfect place and location for Myrtle Beach Bike Rally. Easy access to anywhere along the coast and beaches. The property was well put together and had plenty of space to lay our heads after long days of riding and seeing shows. Top notch!

Cozy Cottage By The Sea

Last minute reservation in a little gem at OSV. Third row with plenty of parking, private beach access and golf cart included. Easy walk to beach as well. Newly remodeled. Lots of space to gather inside and out. Perfect location. Nice neighbors. Outside shower perfect for toddlers. Sleeping spaces all comfy- exceptionally mattresses compared with most rentals as another reviewer mentioned. Sad to outgrow it with the addition of a grandbaby in June. Rent it. You’ll love it!

Great Spring Break for the Family

My boys (16 and 12) had off for spring break and we decided to take a trip to the beach. The house was amazing (fully remodeled). Everything was top notch. Communication with Nancy was fantastic. Highly recommend!

Hosts provided everything you could possibly need. Feels very recently updated, very clean, very convenient to everything. One thing to be aware of, the provided golf cart is ONLY for the community and the beach, couldn’t be used for Surfside and Garden City.

Best house & hosts ever!

Best house rental experience we’ve had by far, exceeded our expectations! Nancy was such a personable host and was very communicative and kind. We were excited just based off of the photos but the house and property is even better in person, as is the location and community. I am super picky about cleanliness (sometimes I even bring my own bed sheets) but the entire place was immaculate, clean and comfortable. The renovations are so well done and the decorating and interior details are spot on, you guys did such a great job! The low bunk bed was perfect for our 3 year old and all of the bedrooms were very spacious and cozy. Our girls enjoyed playing the kids board games, we had all the supplies we needed in the kitchen, and plenty of bath towels. We appreciated the extra details such as storage baskets and bathroom storage shelves/bins.We ended up packing a lot more than needed! The golf cart was very nice we enjoyed cruising around in that, the outdoor shower was THE BEST! The complimentary beach chairs and beach towels saved us a LOT of room traveling the private beach was so convenient and close to the house, only hiccup we had was we brought a beach cabana and only umbrellas are allowed. We did our research beforehand but somehow missed this info - the paperwork provided by Nancy at the house had this info, so luckily we were aware before we made it to the beach. Immaculate house, amazing experience and family memories, thank you so much!
