Only complaint was rug in master bdrm needed cleaning and there was a scatter rug between bed and door to bathroom that kept bunching up causing a tripping hazard, Enjoyed our stay and are coming back next January

Reviewer Comments: The overall condo was very nice with a great view of Murrell’s Inleti. The only thing I would change is the King mattress, it needs to be replaced The condo was clean and has everything you need for a great vacation. We leave stayed in the Marlin Quay complex several time and it is well maintained an upscale. It is within walking distance to two restaurants and across the street from the beach. Great sunset views from the balcony across Murrell’s Inlet.

One more great stay for the books!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit was in a great location and for the most part in good condition. However, we felt there was a musty smoke smell each time you entered the unit. There are some kitchen items that need to be added like plastic cups. drink ware, and cookie sheets for renter convenience. There are homeowners in the complex who do not like renters and would verbally harass people about condo association rules, and even changed the pool signs closing time to get people away from their properties. We’ve stayed many times in this complex and love it, and we have never had issues with homeowners before. It is sad but will make us think twice now about renting here again.

Still waiting for almost 3 weeks for a return call for explanation. My credit card was billed prior to even checking out and turning in keys. Talked to a rep the day after they said it didn’t look right themselves and would look into and call me back. That was going on 3 weeks ago. I guess I’m out 25 bucks with no explanation, even though everything issued was turned in. Very disappointing ending to vacation. Not good customer service at all when a customer feels helpless and getting billed for nothing.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location and nice unit. Awesome marsh/inlet views. Short walk to beach. But we had difficulty with very close by internal construction work during our stay. A work truck was parked in our one assigned parking spot when we arrived after check-in. We resolved that within a half hour. But we woke up each of the next 3 mornings to hammering and drilling that continued on and off during the days. It didn’t ruin our stay, but sure put a damper on it. We did report this to the management team, but they said there was nothing they could do. We wish we would have known ahead of time.

Beach is right across the street with easy access. Also, if you are a seafood fan you must try Gulf Stream located adjacent to the property.

Cleaning

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: the condo was not clean at all - my wife spent almost two days cleaning the condo. She mopped the floors and there were hairs in the bathroom counter top and floors. The mattress were not very comfortable. The couch was terrible. Lighting in the living area was poor if u were sitting on the couch. We were told we should have contacting the office when we first went in and they said they would have come out and cleaned it. I agree, we should have done that when we first arrived and noticed its condition. I also had to clean the fridge. The condo could certainly used an update overall. The view was great and we liked the location.
