The entrance and reception were fine, there isn't really a 'common' lobby area- just the space with the reception behind a bar + they put breakfast in bowls on the bar top. This was all fine and the workers were very kind. The bed was also nice and clean sheets. The bathroom was dirty and had black mould. We also had small bites when we left on our arms and legs- just a few so unsure what they were from. No sign of bedbugs. It is a fine hotel, decent place to stay but only if it is priced lower than others.

A great stay at this hotel. The room was large and had everything you needed. You are 5 minutes from the Oktoberfest site and directly outside a metro station. I would recommend this hotel.

Clean but noisy

A clean and convenient hotel. An easy walk to the center and plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. Our room faced the street and it was VERY loud outside. There is no AC but the hotel provided a fan. Ours made a loud clicking sound and when we asked for a different one they said they didn’t have any. So we either cooked in our room or had to try to sleep through the trucks. The beds were also very hard. The kids stayed in a room in the back and said it was quiet and they could keep their windows open and there was no noise. So perhaps request a room in the back!

I stayed at Bold Hotel for 5 nights during my trip to Munich. I loved the location…walkable to everything and the metro entrance was a right outside, and if you’re going to Oktoberfest, it’s right around the corner. The place had everything I needed and was very quiet and comfortable. However, I feel like the hotel could use a facelift. The walls were scuffed and the floors have seen better days. A nice fresh coat of paint would be wonderful. Other than that, the staff was very kind and helpful.
