I was disappointed with my experience regarding the room occupancy policy. I booked one room for myself and my wife. I have traveled extensively and, in my experience, booking a room for one person has never resulted in an extra charge when a second person stays in the same room. However, upon check-in, I was informed that my booking was for single occupancy only and that an additional fee was required for my wife to stay in the room. This was unexpected and not something I have encountered before. I recommend that future guests carefully review the occupancy details and charges before booking, as this policy may come as a surprise. Clearer communication at the time of booking would have helped avoid this inconvenience.

Clean Rooms thoroughly - Headboards smell of Sweat

I had to change rooms, as the Headboard on my Bed stank of stale sweat. The new Room was nice - but the first was disgusting - and I couldn't work out where the smell was coming from for the first night. The Hotel then charged me $1300 on my Credit Card, rather than blocking the amount.

The hotel is always great, rooms are comfortable, bed is soft and welcoming, shower is hot and strong, and the food in this hotel is simply amazing. The management made sure to take care of me in ways the ITC Grand Central completely failed. This is by far the better of the two ITC hotels in Mumbai. Highly recommended.
