Check in and check out was very easy. The gentleman at the counter came out and helped him carry our luggage to the 2nd floor room. It’s an older motel but it was clean and the bed was comfortable. The area is quiet and close to downtown and to a lighthouse with a walk out pier. My husband and I would definitely stay here again.

Stay away!

Had to change rooms due to heavy musty odor and lights that didn’t work and a door lock that was iffy. New room was somewhat better-not as musty smelling but, the door lock was difficult to open and there was no smoke detector in the room, only the wire were there. When the front desk was asked she gave a run around explanation about smoking and no smoking rooms. I don’t think she understood at all. None of the rooms are smoking. The overall conditions of all the rooms were really bad, not cleaned properly, bad odors, unclear instructions on how to use the air conditioners (one room had a remote and another room had a switch on the wall) and there was no instructions whatsoever. I wholeheartedlydo not recommend staying there.
