Very quiet location. Residents are mostly shift workers for refinery so not a rowdy atmosphere. Very clean and well serviced apartments. Other reviewers have mentioned the absence of cooking utensils and plates bowls cups etc. if you can’t bring your own there are several thrift stores close by to purchase cook and eating products. The coffee maker doesn’t come with filter papers but 2 complimentary filtered sachets are provided.

This stay was so good for our needs. Management/ staff was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay here very much, enjoyed the area and the hotel for prepping ourselves for the rest of our journey. Would absolutely stay here again if in the area.

The hotel is very out of date and quite gross. Bedding was awful. While checking in the managers kid came out and threw batteries at us. Kid was out of control.

Pros: The parking was fine. The room was clean. The staff were friendly. Cons: The room had a kitchen, but no cooking supplies at all, which doesn't make any sense? Why have a kitchen if you don't privide any basic supplies? People don't usually pack cookware, utensils, plates, etc. when traveling. No tissues, no ice, no closets or any hooks to hang coats/clothing on. Probably won't stay here again.

The people running this motel seem nice. They did call me the morning of my arrival to confirm I was still coming, but when I told them my evening ferry from San Juan Island could be delayed, they said "don't arrive after 10," which seemed unfair because I have zero control over the ferries. The hotel itself has not had an update since 1955. I swear the bed cover was the original brown and yellow polyester throw. The fan was covered in giant dust bunnies. The room smelled like people smoked in it for 40 years, which they probably did. A couple coats of paint and some new bedding would have gone a long way.

Good place for a quick overnight before catching the ferry. I likes the cleanliness and fridge. There is a stove, but no utensils or pots and pans.

This place is SO out dated, like going back in time! I chose to view it as funky and retro. It was very clean, you can tell they clean carefully and throughly. It was comfortable, spacious, quiet, it felt safe, and it's a quick walk to restaurants and shopping. I would absolutely stay there again.

Good value, good location

This motel is a good value. It's relatively inexpensive so it doesn't provide all the luxuries of a more expensive place. But it was great for our stay. The location is great, it was clean, the kitchenette (with full fridge) helps save money on meals, etc. We'd stay there again.

What a pleasant surprise and stay

The owner was very nice - asked why we were in town and I explained that we were on a little getaway from the stress of life. Asked if we were here for the Arts Festival? We had no idea about it so I told them no just here for peace and quiet. The owner asked if I wanted to switch to a king bed instead of 2 queens (that’s all that was left when I made my reservation) so of course I said that would be fine. Bless the owners heart as she upgraded us to there guest house. Very nicely appointed, new bed the room looked like new, jetted tube my wife loved, and we had access to all the amenities ie 5 G internet, living room and kitchen. It was very nice and quiet there there was a couple other people staying there but I never heard them but did meet them during our coming and going… very polite and friendly just like my wife and me. When we checked out the owner asked us to please come back and stay with them and I agreed. They offered us a discount for next time. And yes we will be back and yes I will stay with them again.
